BizLine is EcoVadis Platinum
BizCare is BizLine’s CSR program aimed at minimizing our environmental and social impacts while continuing to support our customers in their daily activities. Since 2018, we have been implementing actions across five pillars: products, packaging, supply chain, quality of work life, and stakeholders.
Why EcoVadis?
EcoVadis is the world reference in terms of CSR rating. Present in more than 180 countries, it evaluates up to 130,000 companies spread over 220 sectors of activity... including the Rexel group and many of its suppliers! The rating covers 4 themes:

- 2022: 77/100 (Platinum Medal)
- 2023: 84/100 (Platinum Medal)
- 2024: 83/100 (Platinum Medal)

Evolution of the EcoVadis Assessment
As environmental issues evolve, EcoVadis is constantly reviewing its questionnaire by including new questions. In addition, the 2024 grading scale has also been changed. To obtain the Platinum medal - the highest EcoVadis award - there is no longer a fixed-point level to reach. You now have to be in the top 1% of the best companies in your sector. As a result, the ‘entry ticket’ is higher and higher every year as companies in the sector improve.
Evolution of the BizLine CSR Approach
Since we started the EcoVadis assessment in 2021, here are all the actions that have been implemented:

- Creation of PEP (Product Environmental Profile) sheets to find out about the environmental impacts of some of our products
- Launch of eco-designed products
- Packaging optimization (plastic reduction, eco-inking)
- Financing and participation in a renaturation project in Chelles (77)
- Membership of the FRET 21 programme to reduce our CO2 emissions from downstream transport
- Recyclable consumables at the logistics warehouse (recyclable plastic film and adhesive)
- Earth Day on April 22 (workshop & internal awareness)
- Training in environmental issues via the workshops La Fresque du Climat, Inventons Nos Vies Bas Carbone and 2tonnes led by the Biz'Team
- 11 Waste collection streams at the head office
