BizLine is Ecovadis Platinum

BizCare is BizLine's CSR program that aims to optimize our environmental and social impacts while continuing to support our clients in their daily lives. Since 2018, we have implemented actions across five axes: products, packaging, supply chain, quality of life at work, and stakeholders.

Why choose EcoVadis?

EcoVadis is the global reference for CSR rating. Present in over 180 countries, it evaluates more than 130,000 companies in over 220 sectors... including the Rexel group and many of its suppliers! The rating covers 4 themes:
- Social & Human Rights 
- Environment
- Responsible Purchasing
- Ethics

Evolution of EcoVadis Assessment

As environmental issues evolve, EcoVadis constantly reviews its questionnaire by including new questions. In addition, the 2024 scoring scale has also been modified. To obtain the Platinum medal, the highest EcoVadis award, there is no longer a fixed points threshold to reach. Now, one must only be part of the top 1% of the best companies in their sector. Consequently, the entry ticket is getting higher each year as companies in the sector improve.

Evolution of the BizLine CSR Approach

Since we started the EcoVadis assessment in 2021, here are all the actions that have been implemented:

 Environment 

  • Creation of PEP (Product Environmental Profile) sheets to understand the environmental impacts of some of our products 
  • Launch of eco-designed products 
  • Optimization of packaging (reduction of plastic, eco-ink) 
  • Funding and participation in a renaturation project in Chelles (77) 
  • Membership in the FRET 21 program to reduce our downstream transport CO2 emissions

BizLine 2024 Results: Platinum

All these actions have allowed us to, once again, obtain the Platinum medal with a score of 83/100.

Thanks to its detailed report, EcoVadis allows us to know our strengths and areas for improvement. This enables us to continue reducing our environmental and social impacts.
